| Bio: | The Past I was given this idea by a friend on a site many moons ago... okay so it was about two years ago but whatever. I wrote my journal for a week as though Pippin, from the Lord of the Rings, had come to stay with me. Although the final part of the week has vanished you can still read the majority of it in this journal. The Present Flash forward two years and I'm now getting ready for Christmas, feeling creative and also suffering from writers block. I decide to read my old journals. Spot Pippin's week with me and decide that this might be something I could pick up again. So I am. But I want your help. I need you to give me ideas for who I could have come to stay with me. The PitchFor the beginning it'll just be characters from Lord of the Rings but then maybe I'll change to something different each month. We'll see how it goes. There's a poll which you can post on to help decide the first character that I'll document my week with (over Christmas and New Year). The Cast of Characters Me - I'm twenty, training to be a teacher and I live on an island off the west coast of Scotland. Every day I take a boat across and then at least two trains to get to Uni. I'm also involved in the local drama group. John - My fiancé. Very musical. I spend a lot of time round his place. He's also in the drama group with me. He lives on the island too. Dad - My Dad. His room is across the landing from mine. Runs a shop in down (where I occasionally can be persuaded to work). Will - My 'little' brother (who is almost a full head taller than me). Obsessed with all things Sci-Fi from Star Wars to Dr. Who, he knows it all. A little mad. We're pretty close. Nan - My Nan. She lives with us. She's pretty cool as far as Nans go. Patch - Our dog. He's a failed sheepdog and we got him for fixing someone's computer (this island still operates something of a barter policy). Swings from being vastly intelligent to totally stupid, seemingly at random. | |||||||
